GRIND: Editorial Design
GRIND Sports Magazine embraces all things extreme, exploring how people push the limits of human endurance. This cover and article spread celebrates the talent and perseverance of the female skateboarders who ‘carved the way’ for generations to come.
I focused on dynamic photography for my design, contrasting soft-textured black and white imagery with bright pink graphic elements to illuminate the relation between skate history and the present.
